Buyer Care Specialist I (Automotive)

What you will do

• Provide customer support to internal and external buyers through phone, online chat, and email.
• Register prospective buyers, verify documents, and review account accuracy and compliance with company requirements and applicable state laws.
• Set up online access for bidding, maintain buyer accounts, and explain bidding applications and website functionality.
• Process transactions, resolve account and buyer issues, and aim for one-contact resolution.
• Coordinate between buyers and branches and provide language support when requested.
• Use the buyer relationship management system, ASAP, stock files, and branch-operation knowledge to handle inquiries completely and promptly.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to understand buyer-registration procedures, state licensing laws, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of branch operations and the ability to communicate requirements to internal and external customers.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive, insurance, or rental car industry.
