Planning Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Ontario, California, United States, with travel to the Mexicali facility as needed. The position is open only to applicants who qualify as U.S. Persons under applicable export-control regulations.

Rate of pay: $26–$28 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop production schedules based on sales demand, capacity, monthly sales targets, and customer-required dates.
• Order materials and coordinate timely receipt with Purchasing, the Stockroom, and Production.
• Adjust material schedules to support uninterrupted production, customer changes, and inventory objectives.
• Maintain planning reports and establish, control, and report lead times based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate planning needs with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Customer Service, and the Mexicali production facility.
• Travel to the Mexicali facility and support related departmental projects as needed.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in purchasing, production planning, and material management systems.
• Experience with SAP and in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and coworkers and to work in an office environment.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements.
