Commercial Program Manager – Small Business Energy Savings

Location: Hybrid in the Atlanta metro area, Georgia, United States; local travel within Georgia of up to 30% is required.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 base annually; the anticipated base salary may be up to $127,500.

What you will do

• Lead the development and management of the Small Business Energy Savings program in Georgia.
• Implement detailed management plans, quality-control procedures, and evaluation processes.
• Supervise and mentor program staff while overseeing daily operations.
• Collaborate with technical and marketing specialists, internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Manage partnerships, forecasts, budgets, goals, and program performance reporting.
• Promote energy-efficient technologies and analyze market trends to improve program results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, engineering, energy management, sustainability, or a related discipline, or equivalent related experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing, designing, and administering energy-efficiency or demand-reduction programs.
• Ability to work locally in Georgia and travel within the state up to 30%.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check and drug screening.
• Experience with utility programs, government energy offices, regional nonprofits, or related organizations.

• Experience with the energy-efficiency market in Georgia.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and technologies.
• Experience managing junior staff and client relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
