Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Nebraska, United States. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; overtime may be available. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under applicable ITAR/EAR requirements.

What you will do

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of tooling orders, production strips, and manufactured components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Use microscopes, Keyence vision systems, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, and CMM systems.
• Make approval, rejection, or containment decisions based on inspection data and requirements.
• Prioritize inspection workloads in a high-volume manufacturing environment and maintain quality records.
• Communicate nonconformances and assist with troubleshooting measurement or product issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical inspection processes.
• Manufacturing, machining, tooling, inspection, or quality-related experience is preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T concepts is preferred.
• 2–4 years of related manufacturing or inspection experience is preferred.
