Quality Inspector/Warehouse Specialist (Machining)

What you will do

• Perform incoming, in-process, final, and first article inspections of machined components and assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, material certifications, and quality documentation.
• Measure critical features using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Document inspection results, non-conforming materials, corrective actions, and product traceability records.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement.
• Receive, inspect, pick, pack, dispatch, route, and record materials while maintaining accurate inventory data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or machining apprenticeship is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in machining, manufacturing, warehouse, or quality inspection.
• Understanding of turning, milling, grinding, welding, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T and use precision measuring instruments.
• Working knowledge of material specifications, inspection techniques, Microsoft Office, and quality documentation systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.
