Senior Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Binan, Laguna, Philippines; open to working in Binan

What you will do

• Manage customer complaints and non-conformances, including returned-product reviews, defect-log analysis, and technical failure investigations.
• Prepare and issue 8D and supporting customer reports using structured problem-solving tools such as Fishbone, FTA, and 3x5-Why analysis.
• Monitor customer quality KPIs, coordinate corrective actions, and share lessons learned across internal and external sites.
• Handle non-conforming lots, develop internal plant quality controls, and support change-management and NPI reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement projects, monitor defect trends, and lead KPI improvement meetings.
• Conduct CAPA, compliance, customer, internal plant, and external manufacturing audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of Quality Assurance experience in a semiconductor company, including exposure to external manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques, process and quality control tools, risk assessment, change management, NPI, and quality audits.
• Expertise in manufacturing and operating principles of MOSFET and IC products, including wafer, package, assembly, failure modes and effects, and analytical techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open to working in Binan, Laguna, Philippines.
