Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Dresden, Germany; customer support across Central Europe with travel to other customer sites for approximately 25% of the time, potentially up to 40%

What you will do

• Manage customer engagement and collaborate with R&D to position and evaluate new products.
• Qualify equipment after installation and optimize process performance and cost of ownership.
• Develop technical solutions aligned with customer technology evolution and hirify.global product groups.
• Work with Sales to propose and implement customer solutions.
• Support Service Teams with process-deviation troubleshooting, process qualification guidance, and training.
• Design experiments, analyze data statistically, prepare technical reports, and perform root cause analyses.

Requirements

• Experience in the semiconductor industry with advanced production equipment.
• Knowledge of semiconductor integration.
• Master’s or PhD in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field, with professional experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Ability to communicate clearly, maintain customer satisfaction, and work in a culturally diverse team.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites or business units for approximately 25% of the time.
