Technician Orbiter (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; onsite manufacturing facility. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Monday and Tuesday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM. Rotating shifts, evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime may be required.

What you will do

• Operate orbiter machines according to manufacturing procedures and requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and make operational adjustments.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, inspections, component replacement, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose malfunctions, complete repairs and corrective actions, and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Support production teams, train operators and technicians, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance on equipment upgrades.
• Conduct quality inspections and support compliance with GMP, FDA, environmental, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing production.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with orbiter equipment components and repair techniques.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; maintenance management system experience is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Skaneateles, New York, according to the specified weekend-plus-first-shift schedule.
