Laser Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; onsite production role

Salary: $23.65–$24.70 per hour, second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Operate laser and other fabrication equipment to process finished parts.
• Read work orders, measurements, and production instructions.
• Use micrometers, tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Meet production goals and project deadlines while adapting to schedule changes.
• Rotate across production positions and work independently or with a team.
• Safely lift and maneuver items weighing over 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of manufacturing or industry experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in a loud production environment.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, technical, and problem-solving skills.
