Laser Operator - 3rd Shift

Location: Glasgow, KY, USA; onsite, 3rd shift Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

What you will do

• Operate, program, and troubleshoot tube laser machinery.
• Perform first-piece inspections and document part dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out and document routine machine maintenance.
• Support workload scheduling to optimize machine run time.
• Identify defective materials and report quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow all operating, safety, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience operating, programming, or repairing laser machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions and work effectively with a diverse team.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform standing, walking, bending, crouching, and manual handling during an 8-hour shift.
