Laser Operator (Tube Laser)

Location: Glasgow, KY, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Operate, program, and troubleshoot tube laser machinery for manufacturing products.
• Perform first-piece inspections and document part dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out and document routine machine maintenance.
• Support workload scheduling to optimize machine run time and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and management teams.
• Identify defective materials and questionable conditions, maintain housekeeping, and follow safety procedures.
• Report quality, safety, environmental, product compliance, and compliance-management concerns through the appropriate channels.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience operating, programming, or repairing laser machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in a team environment.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, dial indicators, and feeler gauges.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch during an 8-hour shift.
