Production Support C (Manufacturing)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; onsite production role. Schedule: 4/10, with 10-hour days four days per week.

Salary: $19.95–$36.78 per hour.

What you will do

• Coordinate work assignments, production test lines, and daily production activities.
• Maintain data charts, factory metrics boards, reports, and required paperwork.
• Train employees, coordinate cross-training, and complete required training sign-offs.
• Support supervisors and engineering in developing efficient techniques to maximize throughput.
• Participate in factory meetings and resolve production issues as a resource for the assigned area.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing practices, including 5S and Gemba.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of prior production experience, or a two-year post-secondary/AA degree with 2 years of prior production experience.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to gain cooperation without formal authority.
• Ability to coordinate production activities and resolve complex operational issues.
• Ability to work the 4/10 schedule in Rochester, New York.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Oracle EBS.
• Previous experience training others.
• Experience operating and training others on test equipment.
• Training on In-Circuit Test (ICT).
• Six years of relevant manufacturing experience.
