Transcare Nurse - Plymouth

Location: Remote working model with patient and NHS trust visits in Plymouth and surrounding areas, United Kingdom. The role requires flexibility to travel outside the local area.

What you will do

• Administer prescribed IV therapies and provide associated care to patients who cannot become independent.
• Deliver individualized clinical homecare for patients receiving parenteral nutrition and other IV therapies.
• Train and educate patients and carers to connect and disconnect parenteral nutrition and other prescribed therapies.
• Train patients and carers to use infusion devices independently.
• Support phlebotomy and cannulation services.

Requirements

• Registered adult nurse with current NMC registration.
• At least one year of current clinical experience.
• Competence in managing and delivering IV therapies.
• Strong communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work to strict timescales.
• Ability to make appropriate clinical decisions during emergencies.
• Valid driving licence and flexibility to travel to patients, including outside the local area.
