Lab Technical Coordinator (Immunology)

Location: Onsite at Central DuPage Hospital, 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift; rotating weekends and holidays may be required.

Salary: USD 36.30–52.63 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate daily operations for the Immunology laboratory section and facilitate quality service delivery.
• Review test results, quality control records, and quality assurance parameters; coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop SOPs, maintain document control, and support compliance with CAP, AABB, TJC, and applicable regulations.
• Participate in laboratory information system planning, system changes, interfaces, and technology implementation.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, training, competency assessment, inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply requests.
• Perform complex laboratory testing and bench work, investigate technical or workflow problems, and collaborate with pathologists, physicians, vendors, and support departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Minimum two years of clinical laboratory experience, including professional experience in a technical specialty relevant to the role.
• MLS/BB/C/CG/CT/H/HTL/I/M/MB ASCP Board of Registry certification within one year of hire.
• Demonstrated competency in complex laboratory testing, quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work onsite in Winfield and cover rotating weekends and holidays when scheduled.

Nice to have

• Five or more years of clinical laboratory experience with relevant technical specialty expertise.
