Lab Intern

Location: In-person positions in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, Texas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. The listed role is located in Dallas, TX. Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Pay: $17.75–$22 per hour.

What you will do

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with specimen organization, inventory, workspace preparation, and other non-testing laboratory activities.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects and follow laboratory safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in chemical science, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Interest in laboratory science and the diagnostics industry.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
• Eagerness to learn laboratory skills and scientific concepts, take initiative, and work independently under general supervision.
• Professional conduct, punctuality, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029; rising juniors and seniors are preferred.
