Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Serology

Location: Onsite in Dublin, Ohio; Brentwood, Tennessee; Columbus, Ohio; or Richmond, Virginia, United States. Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.

Pay: $25.85–$35.00 per hour, plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Assess specimen acceptability according to established testing criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical laboratory procedures under departmental standard operating procedures.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance, quality control, supply replenishment, and specimen processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• At least one year of clinical laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree is required.
• Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in a high-volume laboratory environment and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, pass a standardized color blindness test, and work overtime or other shifts as needed.

Nice to have

• At least three months of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Non-traditional degree with applicable science credits meeting CLIA standards.
