Lab Intern

Location: In-person positions in Raritan, New Jersey; Holyoke, Massachusetts; or Durham, North Carolina, United States. Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Pay: $17.75–$22 per hour.

What you will do

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Organize specimens, manage inventory, and prepare laboratory workspaces.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects and follow laboratory safety and compliance procedures.
• Participate in learning experiences, leadership sessions, mentoring, and the in-person intern event.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Interest in laboratory science and the diagnostics industry.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
• Eagerness to learn laboratory skills and scientific concepts.
• Initiative, ability to work independently under general supervision, professionalism, punctuality, and strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029; rising juniors and seniors are preferred.
