What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing and subcontract administration for goods, services, and equipment supporting the Munitions organization.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, prepare bidder lists, issue RFQs, evaluate bids, conduct negotiations, and issue compliant purchase orders and subcontracts.
  • Administer change orders, subcontract closeouts, invoice dispute resolution, and delivery compliance.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships, coordinate audits, and verify specification and quality requirements.
  • Identify procurement risks, implement mitigation plans, negotiate cost savings, and improve operating efficiency.
  • Communicate potential schedule and delivery issues with business unit and Supply Chain Management partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, government contracting regulations, and legal contracting principles.
  • Experience with sourcing, supplier negotiations, analytical work, decision-making, change management, and conflict management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and SAP/ERP systems.
  • Experience in government contracting, the munitions industry, or manufacturing environments.
