Intern - Toxicology

Location: In-person laboratory work in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin, Texas, United States. The Houston assignment follows a Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. schedule, 40 hours per week.

Pay: $17.75-$22 per hour

What you will do

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with specimen organization, inventory, workspace preparation, and other non-testing laboratory tasks.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects and follow laboratory safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in chemical science, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Strong interest in laboratory science and the diagnostics industry.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
• Ability to learn new laboratory skills, show initiative, and work independently under general supervision.
• Professional conduct, punctuality, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be available for the in-person, full-time internship from June 1 through August 13, 2027.
