Clinical Lab Assistant

Location: Onsite in San Diego, California, United States. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Salary: $22–$24 USD per hour, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Support laboratory personnel with testing activities and sample processing.
• Prepare labware, reagents, aliquots, and laboratory supplies according to established protocols.
• Assist with room and equipment maintenance while keeping the laboratory clean and orderly.
• Archive samples in accordance with specimen storage and retention policies.
• Assist with research and validation activities and perform work within quality systems.
• Follow company policies, safety requirements, regulations, and site-specific laboratory procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• At least one year of laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, written and oral communication, judgment, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain flexibility, and demonstrate an interest in laboratory work and orderliness.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, follow laboratory safety requirements, and perform repetitive movements; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is required.

Nice to have

• Two-year college degree.
