TL;DR

Focus on defining roadmaps and backlogs, coordinating platform, data, and partner integrations, and ensuring quality, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI.

Location: Remote within the United States; based in Santa Clara, California, with up to 25–40% travel, including U.S. and international travel

Salary: $134,000–$231,150 per year

What you will do

  • Define the product strategy, roadmap, priorities, and trade-offs for Polyphonic Surgery.
  • Translate customer, clinical, and market inputs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
  • Manage the backlog and collaborate with engineering and design through agile planning, grooming, and reviews.
  • Coordinate platform, data, and partner-integration workstreams across the connected surgical ecosystem.
  • Support release readiness, documentation, launches, commercial enablement, demos, and adoption tracking.
  • Ensure product quality, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices in a regulated healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant fields include computer science, engineering, biomedical engineering, business, or health informatics.
  • 5+ years of product management or closely related software product experience.
  • Experience with healthcare, medical devices, digital surgery, or other regulated software products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with video, sensor, EHR-linked, or other clinical and procedural data sources.
  • Experience with agile development, backlog management, release delivery, and translating business needs into product requirements.
  • Understanding of healthcare data privacy and compliance expectations, including HIPAA and GDPR; ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, biomedical engineering, business, health informatics, or a related field.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled product capabilities and third-party ecosystem integrations.
  • Experience with digital surgery or other clinical software products.
