Field Specialist B (Oil and Gas)

Location: Midland, Texas, United States of America; Odessa Production Team near Odessa, Texas. Onsite 8/6 work schedule with rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and periodic night shifts.

What you will do

• Operate and monitor upstream oil, water, and gas production facilities from wells through primary separation and processing.
• Monitor midstream distribution and storage facilities, including pipelines and terminals.
• Track production process variables and optimize equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot operating issues and perform interventions to maintain production performance.
• Acquire and store production data and assist with projects of medium complexity.

Requirements

• At least one year of current related experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license; company vehicles will be available for commuting.
• Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and scheduled night shifts.
• Must be able to work at the Midland/Odessa, Texas location; relocation will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of gas lift, ESP, and rod pump artificial lift systems.
• Familiarity with hirify.global standard facilities and equipment, including CTBs, SWDs, satellites, and CSs.
• Associate's degree in petroleum technology, process technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with production equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, reliability, safety, and environmental issues.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, MS Office, SAP, SCADA, PI Vision, Power BI, or PowerApps.
