Manufacturing Operator

Location: Billerica, MA, United States; onsite, second shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform inspection, testing, trimming, fixturing, assembly, and packaging tasks.
• Verify products visually, take corrective action, escalate quality issues, and follow product specifications and quality standards.
• Complete production reports, rack tickets, labels, component sheets, rework sheets, SAP transactions, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of rejected materials, manufacturing processes, and good-product counts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, including 6S and Kaizen events, to reduce waste and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, use required personal protective equipment, and report potential hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail, basic math, computer data entry, and ability to use measuring devices and hand or power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder up to 15 feet, and stand or walk throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work onsite in Billerica, Massachusetts, and must not require current or future immigration sponsorship.
