Production Technician l (1st Shift- 6:30am-3pm)

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States. Onsite, first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Salary: $18.60–$33.20 per hour

What you will do

• Execute formulation, encapsulation, primary packaging, and secondary packaging manufacturing processes.
• Set up, operate, clean, clear, and maintain equipment according to batch records and operating procedures.
• Monitor production processes, perform in-process quality checks, and maintain operating conditions within the required range.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues and coordinate complex issues with engineering and mechanical teams.
• Complete batch records in accordance with ALCOA and GMP requirements and maintain an audit-ready production area.
• Train qualified colleagues on equipment and processes and communicate operational events and issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Previous general manufacturing experience required, preferably 2–3 years in cGMP manufacturing.
• Technical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn new programs and applications.
• Understanding of HMI controls, vision inspection systems, product serialization systems, POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to follow GMP, quality, environmental health, safety, and site policies.
