Quality Operations Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Acton, Massachusetts, United States; weekend night shift

Annual base salary: $19.23–$28.85, with potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, lot qualifications, and final products.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality records in electronic systems including Word, Excel, SAP, electronic DHR systems, and Oracle Agile.
• Verify equipment calibration status and use micrometers, calipers, tensile testers, video microscopes, stereoscopes, and optical gauging tools.
• Support Quality leadership during notified body and regulatory authority audits and inspections.
• Maintain cGMP, GMP, GDP, and GLP compliance while keeping the cleanroom and manufacturing environment inspection-ready.
• Identify discrepancies, communicate quality or safety concerns, and work independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Proficient English required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
• Experience in a laboratory environment within the medical device industry.
• Basic mathematics skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with measurement instrumentation and varying microscope setups.
• Ability to work onsite, stand for at least 75% of each shift, walk for at least 50%, and lift up to 20 pounds.
