Project Analyst, SETA 2 (Hybrid Work Schedule) - Public Trust Required

Salary: $89,649–$152,404 per year

What you will do

• Support technology, research and development, and programmatic activities for NSF innovation programs.
• Provide technical and program support for directors managing R&D portfolios and awardees.
• Manage milestones and prepare program briefings, technical reports, and leadership materials.
• Coordinate technical discussions, partnerships, meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support systems engineering and process improvement across the full life cycle of TIP programs.
• Conduct data analysis, improve user experience, and lead task implementation when needed.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 10 years of research and development, research project management, and project management experience.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance suitability.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication, multitasking, technical reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience supporting and interacting with senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD degree.
• Experience with project management, system development and mapping, data analytics, visualization, surveys, and project strategy.
• Technical experience in quantum, advanced materials science, AI, or data science.
• Knowledge of commercialization and transition-to-practice processes.
• Experience in innovation ecosystems, high-growth technology enterprises, or federal SETA programs.
