Integrated Product Team Lead-Gas Turbines

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary, global Integrated Product Team developing turbine blades and vanes within Large Gas Turbines R&D.
• Guide IPT members across aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical design, and mechanical integrity.
• Coordinate interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, service, technology, procurement, and program management.
• Ensure turbine projects meet schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Identify and manage technical and commercial risks, and report progress to the engine-level project manager and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• 10+ years of project management or relevant technical manufacturing experience in similar industries.
• Gas turbine experience is required.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and manufacturing processes.
• Experience guiding teams with diverse backgrounds across different regions.
• Strong communication, intercultural awareness, and presentation skills; travel is approximately 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience designing turbine blades and vanes, including aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical integrity, product definition, manufacturing, or services.
• Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
