Employee Benefits Account Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage employee benefits accounts and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client and internal service needs.
• Process quotes, policies, endorsements, certificates, ID cards, claims, renewals, and related correspondence.
• Collect renewal data, support claims, develop coverage strategies, and assist with insurance marketing and sales.
• Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and maintain complete client records and activity documentation in Applied Systems / EPIC.
• Coordinate information with other departments and keep Producers and management informed of account activity and potential issues.
• Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting requirements, policy provisions, industry trends, and licensing obligations.

Requirements

• Active Health & Life License required.
• Minimum of two years of employee benefits experience and a high school diploma.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, reasoning, mathematical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Knowledge of insurance principles and the ability to calculate premiums, commissions, percentages, discounts, and related figures.
• Comfort with on-site work in New Berlin to support collaboration and cross-functional partnership.

Nice to have

• Applied Systems / EPIC experience.
• Employee Navigator experience.
• CPCU or completion of a specialized training course.
