Lab Intern (Clinical Laboratory Science)

Location: On-site positions in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin, Texas, United States

Salary: $17.75–$22 per hour

What you will do

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with specimen organization, inventory, workspace preparation, and other non-testing laboratory activities.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects while following safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• Interest in laboratory science and the diagnostics industry.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
• Initiative, professionalism, punctuality, and ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week.
