Senior Associate Scientist (Bioprocess Analytics)

Salary: $75,000–$108,333 per year

What you will do

• Design and perform experiments that generate insights for bioprocess development decisions.
• Use automated laboratory systems, high-throughput assays, and analytical instrumentation to evaluate process performance.
• Apply digital and AI-enabled tools to analyze data, identify trends, and support scientific decisions.
• Improve analytical methods, workflows, and laboratory technologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address development challenges and advance therapeutic programs.
• Support the implementation of new automation and analytics capabilities and communicate recommendations affecting manufacturing readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or a related laboratory environment; academic or research experience is considered.
• Experience designing experiments, analyzing data, and translating results into actionable scientific recommendations.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently with guidance.
• Applicants must be United States or Puerto Rico residents; the position is onsite in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with high-throughput assays and laboratory automation platforms such as Tecan or Hamilton.
• Proficiency with digital and data visualization tools, including SoftMax or similar software.
