Lead Software Engineer/Software Engineer (Digital Measurement)

Location: Hybrid role based within a 180-mile radius of the Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona hubs. Applicants must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S. immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $97,000–$160,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Build and maintain digital data collection and exchange capabilities across customer and associate interaction channels.
• Connect digital experience data with the broader hirify.global data ecosystem for reporting, analytics, and optimization.
• Enable collection of user experience data across multiple product teams and applications.
• Develop frontend JavaScript, APIs, and AWS-based services using technologies such as Lambda, S3, SNS/SQS, ECS, and Redis Cache.
• Support digital journey tracking through web, Android, and iOS tagging, scripts, and single-page applications.
• Use AI tools for efficiency, innovation, data validation, and code development.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Frontend JavaScript development experience, including HTML, CSS, jQuery, browser developer tools, and single-page architectures such as Ember, Angular, or React.
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, SNS/SQS, S3, API Gateway, load balancing, VPS, subnets, and security groups.
• Knowledge of Terraform, version control, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with web page, native Android, and iOS application tagging, script development, and testing.
• Ability to work in the hybrid arrangement from within a 180-mile radius of a listed U.S. hub and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Git, GitHub, or GitLab experience with continuous integration and delivery infrastructure.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or other container-based API experience.
• API development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
