Senior Frontend Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: Hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, or Reston, Virginia, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.

What you will do

• Build and refine performant, scalable web applications and frontend tools for the AI platform.
• Rapidly iterate on product features and deploy performance-tuned applications at scale.
• Apply React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML to deliver maintainable frontend code.
• Consume JSON APIs and collaborate with back-end and DevOps engineers on APIs and server deployments.
• Work closely with QA and Product Design to validate functionality and implement product designs.
• Partner with ML Engineers and contribute technical perspectives to frontend architecture and evolution.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
• 5–7 years of experience with React, including components, hooks, Next.js, and the React lifecycle.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience with Node, NPM, JSON APIs, automated testing principles, Scrum, CI/CD, and Git.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with back-end, DevOps, QA, Product Design, and ML Engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailwind or another CSS framework.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
