Site Logistics Technician

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; onsite warehouse environment

What you will do

• Prepare materials for shipment through put-away, order picking, shipment verification, packaging, and pallet preparation.
• Pull materials for manufacturing areas, load trucks, and manage the daily CofA process.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through weekly cycle counts of finished goods and supplies.
• Support warehouse housekeeping, security, 5S activities, and continuous improvement of shipping and receiving processes.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely, monitor workplace hazards, and follow procedures for chemical handling and disposal.
• Work with employees across departments while providing reliable internal and external customer service.

Requirements

• One to three years of warehouse or material-handling experience is preferred; inventory-control experience is helpful.
• Strong computer knowledge and data-entry skills are required.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment such as reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
• Ability to work overtime when required or requested.
• Ability to lift and move loads of at least 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, work on elevated platforms up to 30 feet, and wear personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience using SAP.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for shipping and handling hazardous materials.
