IT Support Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid. Travel of up to 10% annually is required, with possible onsite interviews and in-person onboarding. Participation in an on-call or escalation rotation outside normal US business hours may be required.

Salary: $118,000–$140,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Provide primary support for hardware, operating systems, identity, networking, SaaS applications, and corporate infrastructure.
• Administer identity providers, productivity suites, MDM, endpoint security tools, networking, and enterprise SaaS applications.
• Own onboarding, offboarding, role changes, device provisioning, access management, and global IT asset lifecycle workflows.
• Build automation with Python, Bash, APIs, and Okta Workflows to reduce repetitive IT work.
• Support San Francisco and Seoul office networks, Wi-Fi, conference rooms, AV systems, office moves, and future locations.
• Maintain IT controls, documentation, escalations, and compliance evidence for SOC 2, CMMC/NIST 800-171, GDPR, and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, corporate IT, endpoint engineering, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience with macOS and working knowledge of Windows in a distributed, multi-country environment.
• Experience with Okta, Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID, and MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Microsoft Intune.
• Knowledge of IAM protocols and access controls including SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, RBAC, ABAC, and least privilege.
• Strong networking fundamentals covering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN/ZTNA, routing, and switching.
• Experience with automation or scripting and with technical controls for security and compliance frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, Cloudflare Zero Trust, Zscaler, or similar security platforms.
• Cloud IAM experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience governing enterprise AI tools, LLM platforms, or AI coding assistants.
• Experience integrating HRIS, identity providers, MDM, ticketing systems, and SaaS applications.
• Relevant IT, networking, or systems administration certifications.
