Contract Surety Underwriter Associate

Location: Remote - Pennsylvania; the role is based in Pipersville, PA

What you will do

• Provide administrative and underwriting support to contract surety producers and underwriters.
• Review bond submissions for completeness and accuracy and enter account information into agency systems.
• Order and review financial, business, and credit information.
• Prepare bond applications, indemnity agreements, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate outstanding underwriting requirements, issue approved bonds, and process invoicing.
• Communicate with clients, obligees, producers, and surety companies while generating status reports and supporting account management.

Requirements

• Experience in insurance, financial services, administration, or a related office environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong data-entry, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to support accurate and timely processing of contract surety submissions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Surety, underwriting, brokerage, or agency experience.
• AINS, ARM, CIC, or related designations or coursework.
