Claims Executive (Insurance Claims)

What you will do

• Manage individual and portfolio-level commercial insurance claims with limited tactical supervision.
• Establish claims protocols and policy enhancements with clients and insurance company partners.
• Conduct claim reviews covering claims handling, reserves, settlements, defenses, and records.
• Act as a client claims advocate and liaison to support cost mitigation and dispute resolution.
• Design, implement, and measure claims management solutions that reduce total cost of risk.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute claims expertise to client meetings, renewals, and business development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in claims and client- or customer-facing support within the insurance industry.
• Strong expertise in commercial claims, including workers compensation, property and casualty, management liability, professional liability, or specialty claims.
• Experience reviewing policy coverage and resolving claims disputes.
• Ability to develop claims strategies, present risk mitigation solutions, and communicate with diverse clients, carriers, and colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and mentoring skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, CIC, AINS, WCCP, CLRI, CRM, or PRM.
• Knowledge of Spanish.
