Commercial Lines Sr. Casualty Consultant

Location: Denver, Colorado; Portland, Oregon; or remote within the US Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zones

Annual salary: $135,000–$180,000; bonus eligible with a target rate of 10%

What you will do

• Provide technical support to Commercial Lines account management and sales teams.
• Analyze, design, market, price, and place complex casualty risks.
• Assess contractual liabilities and their alignment with insurance policies.
• Create client-facing summaries and model policy options using analytical resources.
• Negotiate underwriting terms and pricing with carrier partners.
• Coach the Casualty Analytics team, train new hires, and help develop department policies and loss-control strategies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a commercial lines agency with underwriting and technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Deep technical knowledge of commercial insurance, with strong business, negotiation, data interpretation, and communication skills.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• ARM, CIC, or CPCU industry designation.
• Knowledge of Sagitta or ImageRight.
