Manager, Materials (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Texarkana, Texas, United States; 10% business travel

Salary: $91,600–$137,400 per year

What you will do

• Design and execute schedules for parts, commodities, and services aligned with production objectives.
• Build lead-time models, analyze ordering patterns, and identify supply-chain failure points and operational risks.
• Coordinate supplier quality, incoming inspection, and issue-resolution activities to protect program delivery.
• Evaluate supplier performance through scorecards, maintain performance histories, and support continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery.
• Develop cost analyses and purchasing strategies based on product criticality, lead times, and inventory carrying costs.
• Optimize handoffs of BOMs, QAPs, engineering drawings, approval documents, and related materials while maintaining internal TATs and SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in hazardous-material shipping, planning, people leadership, and ERP use.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to use data analytics and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.
• Ability to work onsite in Texarkana, Texas, with 10% business travel.
