Supply Chain Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $89,010–$170,630 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies for material and process readiness.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, scalability, reliability, cost, and quality.
• Partner with Technology Development and Factory teams to resolve materials challenges in high-volume manufacturing.
• Manage supplier-driven change controls, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Apply Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments to optimize supplier operations and quality systems.
• Lead supplier evaluations, selection, contract negotiations, market hirify.globalligence activities, and technology co-development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience and 3+ years of Statistical Process Control experience.
• Experience managing supplier-driven change controls and performing risk assessments.
• Experience with technical documentation, compliance, audit procedures, and supplier manufacturing processes.
• Ability to conduct data-driven problem-solving, technical discussions, and supplier quality system evaluations.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of Design of Experiments experience, including laboratory experiments and metrology.
• Experience with electroplating techniques.
• Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to lead problem-solving initiatives in ambiguous situations.
