Principal Supply Chain Project Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. International travel of up to 25% is required. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and comply with ITAR/EAR export controls.

Base pay: $194,121.00–$271,768.35 for Washington applicants; other state ranges include $194,121.00–$271,768.35 for California and $190,458.00–$266,641.20 for Colorado.

What you will do

• Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain strategies for ASIC materials, silicon wafers, advanced packaging, and critical hardware.
• Coordinate foundries, OSAT partners, substrate vendors, wafer sort, and final test facilities across the semiconductor ecosystem.
• Manage long-term agreements, firm-fixed-price contracts, capacity reservations, allocation agreements, tooling, and mask-set planning.
• Integrate supplier build, test, delivery, manufacturing readiness, and production commitments into program master schedules.
• Coordinate qualification hardware, engineering samples, first-silicon bring-up, characterization, technology transfers, and high-volume production readiness.
• Develop risk mitigation plans and executive reporting covering supply continuity, yield, cycle times, costs, and supplier performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, semiconductor engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, law, business, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of experience across engineering, semiconductor operations, ASIC/SoC manufacturing, procurement, project management, or integrated supply chain management.
• At least 3 years of strategic sourcing, contract development, and negotiation experience for custom silicon, ASICs, or critical semiconductor components.
• Experience with foundry operations, OSAT, advanced packaging, assembly, test operations, and semiconductor supply chain processes.
• High proficiency with SAP or Oracle ERP/MRP platforms and supplier management tools.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, and must be eligible for required security clearance processes.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or professional certification such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or PMP.
• Experience taking custom ASIC or SoC programs from early development and NPI through high-volume production and yield improvement.
• Experience with aerospace, defense, telecommunications, DoD, NASA, CAM, or EVMS programs.
• Advanced use of AI-driven supply chain visibility tools and predictive analytics for semiconductor capacity planning.
