Director, Outcomes Research Data Specialist (AI Healthcare)

Location: Remote in the USA; California is specified, with the salary range also applicable to Colorado, Illinois, and New York. Travel up to 20% is required.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually plus a target bonus. Actual compensation may vary by location, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do

• Support business development and secure partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and other life sciences organizations.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for real-world data and analytics solutions across Medical Affairs, HEOR, Epidemiology, Commercial, and RWE teams.
• Translate client scientific, clinical, and commercial objectives into RWE study proposals and data solutions.
• Collaborate with scientific, data product, clinical abstraction, and data science teams on protocols, analytics, data assets, and product offerings.
• Present RWE capabilities, insights, and strategic recommendations to pharma epidemiologists, HEOR leaders, and medical liaisons.
• Monitor RWE methodology, oncology guidelines, clinical trials, market trends, pipeline performance, and business operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of consulting or partnership experience in life sciences, real-world evidence, HEOR, Medical Affairs, or a related field.
• Experience positioning data-driven solutions, RWE offerings, or analytics services for pharmaceutical and biotech partners.
• Proven success achieving revenue targets, building long-term client relationships, and managing complex enterprise accounts.
• Familiarity with oncology research, clinical trials, RWE endpoints, and retrospective observational research using claims, EHR, or registry data.
• Ability to explain scientific and technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be available for remote work in the USA and travel up to 20%.

• Experience shaping study designs, protocols, or analytics with scientific teams.
• Experience with hematologic malignancy datasets or disease-specific outcomes.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
