Location: Fully remote for candidates residing in the United States, excluding Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming, and U.S. Territories. Occasional travel is required for team meetings and company events.
Base pay: $135,792–$178,227 per year in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington; $122,213–$160,404 per year in other eligible locations.

What you will do
- Design and build dashboards, business-intelligence solutions, reusable metric logic, curated datasets, recurring analyses, and automation.
- Translate stakeholder requirements and approved actuarial and health-insurance methodologies into reliable technical designs and analytical products.
- Own complex solutions through requirements, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement.
- Partner with Medical Economics, Actuarial, Finance, Data, BI, operational, and business stakeholders to define priorities and resolve tradeoffs.
- Strengthen validation, code review, documentation, data freshness, financial tie-outs, release controls, and change management.
- Review designs and code, guide matrixed contributors, mentor colleagues, and communicate insights through operational and executive readouts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, business intelligence, actuarial work, Medical Economics, healthcare data, or a related area, with relevant payer or health-insurance experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical claims and healthcare coding, including CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and DRGs.
- Advanced hands-on SQL proficiency and experience with Python or another general-purpose programming language.
- Experience with data transformation, automation, validation, analysis, and production tooling.
- Must reside in an eligible U.S. location; the listed states and U.S. Territories are excluded.
Nice to have
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable BI platform.
- Experience with version control, reusable code, automated testing, release automation, workflow orchestration, and reliability optimization.
- Experience leading cross-functional or matrixed contributors and designing governed metrics and shared quantitative infrastructure.
- Experience using AI-assisted or large-language-model tools for software development, data analysis, or insight generation.
- Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or progress toward an SOA credential.
