Advanced Level II UTSW or PAUT with MT/PT (RT a plus) (NDT)

Location: Greenville office, Greenville, South Carolina; remote position limited to U.S. Persons due to ITAR export-control requirements

What you will do

• Perform material examinations according to procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Apply advanced ultrasonic testing methods, including shearwave and/or PAUT, along with additional NDT methods.
• Prepare written examination instructions and organize and report examination results.
• Coordinate scope of work and priorities with department managers and clients.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to trainees while working independently and supporting team members.
• Perform inspections in industrial environments, including elevated platforms, confined spaces, and areas with operating equipment or hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Level II NDT qualification with documented education, training, and experience in applicable methods.
• Advanced UT experience in shearwave and/or PAUT; MT and PT required as additional certifications, with RT considered a plus.
• Working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to report issues and solve problems with customers and other departments.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass a drug screen, wear required safety equipment, work shifts up to 12 hours and 7 days per week, travel for extended periods, and lift up to 100 pounds.
