Pricing Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote from Georgia; flexible schedule aligned with CET.

What you will do

• Analyze CAD models, 3D models, technical drawings, and RFQs for quoting and manufacturability.
• Calculate manufacturing costs, including materials, machining hours, labor intensity, and post-processing.
• Recommend suitable manufacturing processes and provide DFM feedback.
• Document calculations and transfer quote details to Sales and Commercial teams.
• Coordinate clarifications with Sales and Engineering, organize RFQs, and maintain quote databases.
• Deliver accurate quotes within 1–2 working hours and support process automation and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.
• Expertise in machining and fabrication processes, including turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, cutting, sheet metal processing, grinding, and welding.
• Knowledge of materials including metals, plastics, and composites, plus post-processing methods such as heat treatment, anodizing, coatings, polishing, and painting.
• English at B2+ level, with the ability to explain technical details clearly.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, assessing manufacturability, and using CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud systems.

Nice to have

• CAM programming experience for CNC using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or CypCut.
• Tooling and fixture design experience for machining, assembly, and welding.
• Readiness to develop further CAM programming skills.
