Product Design Transfer Analyst (Medical Device)

Location: Maryland, USA; work may be performed in a traditional office or home office environment.

Annual base salary: $78,100–$116,200, plus potential discretionary or non-discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Transfer product, material, and process information from development and project teams into production release.
• Attend design reviews, communicate configuration considerations, and provide feedback on timelines and processing constraints.
• Coordinate configuration activities across development, manufacturing, quality, and other functional departments.
• Prepare impact assessments, parts maps, bills of materials, routings, product specifications, and other configuration documents.
• Support departmental training, develop new tools, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with document and record control, quality, ISO, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field preferred; additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, research and development, product transfer, quality, or a related department.
• Experience with product commercialization and hands-on work in quality assurance, manufacturing, product transfer, or product development strongly preferred.
• Experience with change control and/or document control processes required.
• Knowledge of product configurations, change management, structured problem solving, and task organization.
• Must satisfy U.S. employment eligibility requirements; hirify.global uses E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech industry.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Aras Innovator.
