Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) - Mechanical/Military / Avionics (51472)

Location: Greenville, SC office; trainee positions primarily based in Greenville, SC and/or Charlotte, NC. Experienced technicians may be located throughout the United States and must travel to U.S. customer sites.

Eligibility: U.S. Persons only due to ITAR-controlled information access.

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites across the United States and perform remote visual inspections on industrial and energy assets.
• Set up video borescopes, push cameras, robotics, vessel cameras, drones, and related equipment for inspection use.
• Interpret drawings and assess access, distance, hazards, and technology limitations.
• Document indications and customer-relevant details with high-resolution images and video, then prepare comprehensive reports.
• Use retrieval tools to remove foreign material and provide on-the-job training and guidance to trainees.
• Work independently or in small teams during extended customer assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and successful completion of a drug screen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• U.S. Person status is required: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, around operating equipment, and with radiation or hazardous materials.
• Ability to work shifts of up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week, travel for extended periods, and lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

Nice to have

• Prior military experience.
• Engineering degree or industrial and mechanical expertise.
• Government or commercial nuclear radiation-worker experience.
• A&P license or prior industrial-environment experience.
