Co-Op, IT Support Professional (IT) Summer 2027

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States; full-time onsite co-op for the Summer 2027 term from May through early August.

Salary: $18.24–$20.27 per hour. A sign-on bonus may help offset housing expenses for students living outside the typical commuting distance.

What you will do

• Provide daily technical support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office Suite.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, workstations, and basic network and system issues.
• Help maintain data integrity, file system security, permissions, and Microsoft 365 access under guidance.
• Research hardware and software solutions and support IT infrastructure and technology projects.
• Explain technical information clearly and provide basic user training and guidance.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• General understanding of Windows-based systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and basic networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and VPN.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, and follow-up skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Exposure to Active Directory concepts.
