Senior IT Support Specialist (AI)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Long Beach office, Long Beach, California, United States. Occasional domestic travel, varied shifts, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation may be required.

Hourly pay range: $30.38–$37.98 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Deliver day-to-day onsite IT services and act as the senior support specialist for the Long Beach office.
• Track and maintain incident, request, problem, change, and project tickets and related documentation.
• Provide technical support, guidance, instruction, and documentation to employees and internal teams.
• Support Launch and Mission Operations during launch periods.
• Participate in medium-to-complex end-to-end IT projects from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, testing, coordination, and operational support.
• Use AI platforms and effective prompting to evaluate outputs and identify improvements to service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of IT support or IT service experience and a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Operational experience with most of the following and proficiency in at least two: Windows or Linux desktop operating systems, PC hardware, networking infrastructure, scripting, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting all phases of a medium-to-complex IT project.
• Familiarity with common AI platforms, prompt writing, AI output evaluation, and identifying practical service improvements.
• For U.S. office roles, must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, qualifying refugee or asylum status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.
• The role is onsite in Long Beach and may involve production areas with prolonged sitting, standing, walking, computer work, noise, dust, and fumes.

Nice to have

• ITIL or CompTIA certification.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, O365, virtualization, public or private cloud environments, IaaS, IaC, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience supporting engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, mission control, launch, or test operations in aerospace, semiconductor, or other high-tech industries.
