Future Talent - Maintenance Engineer Trainee (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Home-based in the United States with up to 80% domestic travel to customer production facilities. U.S. work authorization and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required; visa sponsorship and relocation are not provided.

Annual base salary: $54,300–$66,200, plus eligibility for a 10% performance incentive.

What you will do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and reliability-focused maintenance on customer equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation faults and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, calibration, and performance validation.
• Use electrical schematics and PLC software, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens, for diagnostics and functional checks.
• Apply root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and equipment reliability practices.
• Maintain service documentation and collaborate with service engineers, technicians, and customer maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical diploma or certification, trade or vocational training, or military technical training.
• Relevant background in industrial maintenance, electromechanical technology, automation and control systems, electrical or mechanical technology, mechatronics, diesel technology, heavy equipment maintenance, or industrial robotics.
• Graduation or expected graduation between 2025 and 2027.
• Willingness to travel for on-site customer support, including up to 80% domestic travel.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, U.S. work authorization, and ability to work at customer production facilities are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is welcome but not required.
