Mission Critical Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Pueblo, Colorado; on-site five days per week

Annual base salary: $75,700.00–$135,834.99

What you will do

• Manage customer quality activities for mission-critical equipment and manufacturing operations.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Evaluate quality performance through Gemba activities, audits, management reviews, warranty data, traceability, and customer feedback.
• Create and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs while tracking improvement initiatives.
• Conduct customer site visits and quality audits, document findings, and translate feedback into improvement plans.
• Support supplier quality, reliability, and new product or project launch activities while collaborating across functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering, preferably involving customer-specific requirements.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, root cause analysis, 8D, and 5 Whys.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection tools, SPC, process capability, traceability, and control points.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
